Objective and Focus Areas

Geomatics division is managing the Library of Latest & archival satellite data sets of different resolutions, including its acquisition, correction, management, and storage. This division ensures the accuracy and accessibility of geospatial data by handling all aspects of satellite imagery and data processing. Creation of Geo-database, development of web applications and facilitate the use and dissemination of geospatial information to state line departments. The geospatial applications are designed to support both internal stakeholders and external users by providing intuitive access. In addition to technical responsibilities, the division is committed to fostering geospatial technology education and awareness. The division offers training programs tailored to state department officials, individuals, groups, and professional entities, academic students enhancing their understanding and capabilities in geospatial technology. The division serves as a valuable resource for the public, promoting the advancement of geospatial technology and education. The division is presently carrying out following projects.
